Rib Showdown Rules
Rules to this contest are fairly simple
1.Have Fun, keep in mind this is to help out a good friend and a great cause.
2.If you plan on drinking make sure you have a ride home or a place to stay, I don’t want the next social gathering that were all at to be a funeral.
3.Please help with the clean up I will provide an ash and grease bucket.
4.Each team will draw a number this will determine which package of ribs you will receive and will be the number marked on your claim shell box
5.No Vegetables allowed this is a meat contest.
6.Minimum 6 pc of ribs in each box
7.Ribs will be marked out of 10 for Taste texture and appearance
8.Ribbons to 6th place Trophies and Cash for first ties to be determined by cut of the deck tie for first split the pot.
9.Turn in times are 3:00 pm for back ribs and 4:00 pm for Side ribs. Cooks meeting at 7:45 AM June to make breakfast (Ha Ha just kidding)

Judges note that every team starts with a perfect score and you subtract ¼ marks for every mistake you find or things you dislike about the rib. New judges don’t be afraid to ask the other judges what is or is not a mistake but in the end if you believe that all the entries are tens then that’s what you should mark down.
